Under the Greyhound Racing Act 2017, Greyhound Trainers, Breeders and Attendants are required to be registered with the Commission.
Each registration type plays an important role in the life of a racing greyhound and it's important that those performing the roles have a thorough understanding of their responsibilities.
To assist, the Commission have developed registration handbooks with the help of Greyhound Racing Victoria. The handbooks outline what each role does, things to consider before you register and your responsibilities in the greyhound racing industry.
When joining the industry in one of these roles you may be ask to complete an online assessment to test your knowledge of the role you hope to undertake. All of the answers to the questions can be found in the handbooks below. For more information on the online assessment, please call 13 49 42 (13 GWIC).
Online assessments will be a mandatory component of the registration application process for all new and upgrading applicants.
