Industry updates / Update: COVID Protocols at the track

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) and the Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission (GWIC), wish to inform all participants and stakeholders that NSW Health restrictions will ease from 12.01am, Wednesday, December 15.

From that time, unvaccinated residents in the State will be given the same freedoms as those who are fully vaccinated and density limits in all settings will be removed.

The requirements surrounding the wearing of masks will also be further reduced.

Masks will not be required in indoor settings but are encouraged when not able to social distance, and masks will not be required at all in outdoor settings.

As such, from December 15, masks will not be a requirement at any time during race meetings including during kenneling, however, those who wish to continue to wear a mask at any time while on course, are obviously still able to do so.

Race Clubs will still have COVID-safe check-ins available for patrons and participants attending their race meetings.
