Acting Chief Commissioner - Natalie Marsic PSM
Acting Chief Commissioner Marsic is an experienced General Counsel and senior executive having worked in the NSW public sector for more than 25 years.
From June 2020 to July 2026, Acting Chief Commissioner Marsic was the General Counsel of the NSW Police Force leading the legal response to a number of significant events including COVID-19 and the Bondi Beach terrorist attack. In 2023, Acting Chief Commissioner Marsic was awarded the Australian Public Service Medal for her outstanding public service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the course of her career, she has worked in the justice sector in a number of roles including at the Crown Solicitor’s Office, Attorney General’s Department, Ministry for Police and Emergency Services and the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Acting Chief Commissioner Marsic holds an Arts/Law degree from the University of NSW and a Master of Laws from Eberhard-Karls Universität in Germany. She has also completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Commissioner - Fiona Jolly
Commissioner Jolly is an experienced Chief Executive Officer, Non-Executive Director and legal practitioner.
She has broad experience across government and private sector regulatory and self-regulatory entities and not-for-profit organisations, with international experience working with multinational corporations and regional and global regulatory organisations.
Commissioner Jolly is Chair of Goodwin Aged Care Services and serves on the Boards of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors, the ACT Cemeteries Authority, Rural Financial Counselling Service (NSW) and Freshmark (NSW Chamber of Fresh Produce Ltd).
She has been appointed as Commissioner for a two-year term until January 2028.
