Officially launched in September 2023, eTrac is the Commission’s world-first digital portal designed to provide participants across NSW with instant access to information and to facilitate seamless transactions.
The ‘one stop shop’ eTrac portal provides quick, easy and secure online transactions 24/7 and gives participants direct access to their greyhound information online, including health records.
A free eTrac mobile app, which is available from both the Apple and Google stores, was released in October 2023 to further streamline participant interactions.
In addition, eTrac allows the Commission to monitor and record the whereabouts of every registered greyhound in New South Wales, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, more robust and efficient racing operations, and even greater confidence in the sport.
This innovative use of technology was praised by participants as a step towards a more dynamic future.
As of 30 June 2025, there were 4,638 users of the eTrac portal.
