Participants not renewed by 31 August 2019 will not be permitted to nominate, race or handle a greyhound at the track from 1 September 2019.
If participants wish to continue in the industry and do not renew by 31 August 2019, they will need to apply for a new registration as any new participant would, including a new police check in order to pass the 'Fit and Proper Person' assessment.

Late fees - A late fee of $50 per registration type will apply to registrations not renewed by 30 June 2019.
New ID Cards will be issued two weeks after registrations are renewed.
The Commission will provide all current participants with a sticker for their current ID Card to validate it until 31 August 2019. This sticker will be sent via post to participants, along with other registration renewal information in May.
Registrations renewed in 2019 will be valid until 30 June 2020. During 2019-20, the Commission will introduce a new registration fee framework and in that process will assess whether any renewal fee is required for the 2020/21 renewal period.
The Commission has not made significant changes to past registration renewal fees or processes, except for introducing the option for participants to renew registrations online.

Photo and proof of identity requirements
Participants will need a photo, proof of identity, and payment to renew their registrations.
Please see the table below which outlines what participants will need if they are renewing online, over the phone, at Head Office in Bathurst, or at a select track in June.

If under 18 years
If under 18 years and applying for an attendant licence, proof of identity, a letter of authority from a parent or guardian providing consent, and the parent or guardians proof of identity will be required. A birth certificate can also be used to prove identity for anyone under 18 years.
Renewal payments can be made by credit card or BPAY.

Frequently asked questions
What if I don’t have a computer?
Ask a family member, friend or neighbour if they can assist, or visit your local library. Commission staff will be at select clubs throughout June to assist participants with their renewals.
What if I don’t have a credit card?
If you do not wish to pay your registration fee by credit card you can pay using BPAY. For alternative payment options such as cheques or money orders please call the Customer Service Hotline on 1800 951 755. Cash payments will not be accepted.
What if I can’t pay my fees by 30 June 2019?
Payments can still be made after 30 June, however they will incur a late fee of $50 per registration type. Payments must be made by 31 August or your registration will expire and you will not be permitted to race from 1 September.
Do I need to get a Police Check?
If you renew your registration by 31 August 2019 you are not required to provide a Police Check. If you do not renew by 31 August you need to start the registration process again. This includes getting a Police Check in order to pass the ‘Fit and Proper Person’ assessment.
Do I need accreditation or competencies standards to renew my registration?
No, you do not need official accreditation to renew your registration in 2019.
